That\u2019s why, most of us keep weekly, even daily backups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ClusterCS allows for easy backup job management, with possibilities to store them locally or upload them on a remote server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><strong>You need to enable SSH access in order to download the backups generated by CCS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Navigate to the backup tab of the Control Panel on the domain you want the job done:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"512\" src=\"https:\/\/clustercs.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/image-14.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8655\" srcset=\"https:\/\/clustercs.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/image-14.png 1024w, https:\/\/clustercs.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/image-14-300x150.png 300w, https:\/\/clustercs.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/image-14-768x384.png 768w, https:\/\/clustercs.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/image-14-600x300.png 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Here you have two options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Adding a repository<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 is not mandatory, in order to use an external FTP server to upload your backups to, you need to add a repository:<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/clustercs.com\/oldkb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/ccs-add-repository.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/clustercs.com\/oldkb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/ccs-add-repository.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Name:&nbsp;<\/strong>It\u2019s a tag for your repository, to identify it<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hostname\/IP:&nbsp;<\/strong>Either a domain or an IP<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Backup directory:&nbsp;<\/strong>The directory to which the backups will be uploaded. It is relative to the user\u2019s root folder<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FTP Username\/Password:&nbsp;<\/strong>Credentials used to log in<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A successfully added repository should look like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/clustercs.com\/oldkb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/ccs-backup-manager-1024x368.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/clustercs.com\/oldkb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/ccs-backup-manager-1024x368.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Adding a backup job<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 I will get into details under the pictures<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/clustercs.com\/oldkb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/ccs-add-backup-job-1024x698.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/clustercs.com\/oldkb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/ccs-add-backup-job-1024x698.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/clustercs.com\/oldkb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/ccs-add-backup-job2-1024x712.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Backup name:&nbsp;<\/strong>Is used to identify the job<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Store backup in:&nbsp;<\/strong>You can choose to either save it locally (Server storage), or have it uploaded on a repository\/FTP server<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Notification e-mail:&nbsp;<\/strong>You can set notifications via e-mail when a backup job is run. By default, the ClusterCS account e-mail is introduced automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Back up:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>All<\/strong>&nbsp;configuration and content<\/li><li><strong>Files<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 backs up your public_html folder<\/li><li>The text fields are used to skip files and folders from being backed up (Such as large folders with many images that do not necessarily need backing up too often)<\/li><li><strong>Databases<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 You can select to back up all databases, only the ones you check under or skip the ones you check<\/li><li><strong>E-Mail<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;You can select to back up all e-mail accounts, only the ones you check under or skip the ones you check<\/li><li><strong>Verify empty space<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Checks if there is enough space before attempting backing up<\/li><li><strong>Abort on low space<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 If there is not enough space to back up the files, it will automatically cancel the job<\/li><li><strong>Disable website<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 You can select this to put the site under maintenance while the job is running. It is recommended, so that the files aren\u2019t accessed for read\/write while they are being backed up, to prevent corruption. Under, you can select to put the site into maintenance only when backing up files or databases.<\/li><li><strong>Schedule<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 You can set exactly at what times to run the jobs, and how many previous backups to keep. It will automatically delete the older backups.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Alright!
